Pamela S Thibodeaux is multi-published in fiction and non-fiction. Her writing tagged as “Inspirational with an Edge!” and reviewed as “Steamier and grittier than the ‘typical Christian’ without decreasing the message.”
She is the Co-founder and a member of the Bayou Writers Group in Lake Charles, Louisiana. As a former member of American Christian Fiction Writers (formerly ACRW), Golden Triangle Writers Guild, Coeur de Louisiane and RWA, Pam won Coeur’s 1999 “Diamond In The Rough” as well as their 2000 “Ruby” Award and received her RWA Pro Pin in 2001.
The deepest desire of her heart is to glorify God in her writings and to bring His message of faith, trust and forgiveness to a hurting world. Her hope is that all of her stories will touch the lives of everyone who reads them and – in some way – bring them a truer knowledge of God and urge them into a closer walk with Him.
Q: When did you start your writing career?
A: I began penning stories in 5-subject notebooks more than twenty-five years ago.
Q: I’ve heard a lot of writers have a crutch. Do you, and if so, what is it?
A: Crutch? No, I don’t think so. I do, however have to be open and willing to write as the Holy Spirit dictates, otherwise I get nothing accomplished.
Q: You are tagged Inspirational with an Edge, how much does your faith dictate your writing?
A: 100% – Everything I write reflects my faith and my relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Q: Can we find any of ‘you’ woven into Rebecca’s character
A: Yeah, quite a bit of me is woven into Rebecca’s character – especially her “mother’s heart.” I love children and being a mother and wife were my greatest ambitions and most rewarding accomplishments in life.
Q. Tell us a bit about your other works?
A. Well as of March 11, 2009 I’ll have 4 short stories (Cathy’s Angel, Choices, A Hero for Jessica and Winter Madness) also available through White Rose Publishing (an imprint of The Wild Rose Press).
